On August 7, 2025, Communist deputies held a meeting at the European Union office in Moscow against the aggression of the collective West and Russophobia.
Currently, the scale of the Russophobic hysteria being fanned by the collective West has already reached dangerous proportions. The “globalists,” along with the Ukrainian Nazi regime they are “protecting,” are no longer limited to expanding the list of anti-Russian sanctions, shelling our country’s territories, and unleashing mass terror against the people of Novorossiya. In recent months, they have begun to undermine the functioning of key sectors of our society in order to destabilize the internal situation in Russia. The launch of a large number of drones by the Ukrainian regime against Russian cities and settlements, as well as attacks on the Internet resources of our country, which have led to disruptions in the work of the postal service, pharmacies, medical facilities, civil aviation, and rail transport, directly indicate the escalation of aggressive actions by the junta of Vladimir Zelensky and his overseas patrons. The situation is exacerbated by the belligerent rhetoric of US President Donald Trump, who constantly issues new threats and ultimatums to Russia and the countries that support it in its fight against fascism.
The events of recent months have finally dispelled the illusions about the so-called “peacekeeping” aspirations of the new head of the White House in Washington. Donald Trump, representing the interests of American business, which is focused on minimizing the crisis by capturing new economic space, aims to strengthen the international expansion of the United States, suppress the independence of the peoples of various countries around the world, and continue to provoke armed conflicts on a global scale, particularly in the post-Soviet region.
Today, as in the 1930s and 1940s, capital sees the outbreak of a new world war as a way to maintain its dominance. It is in the interests of the bourgeoisie to sow discord among the working class and all трудящиеся, pitting them against each other on the basis of nationality, race, and religion. It is quite understandable that the “international community” sees in the continued supply of weapons to the Ukrainian Nazi regime and in its support for its extremist anti-Russian plans the possibility of creating new conditions that will facilitate the establishment of full control over the vast natural resources of our country.
In the current circumstances, society is becoming increasingly convinced of the futility of reaching a compromise with the Western “democracies” and their Banderite puppets. Russia’s enemies have finally shed their masks and openly declared their intention to bring our country to its knees. Only by continuing the special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine and bringing it to a victorious conclusion can we protect the unity and independence of our homeland and create conditions for a sustainable peace. Achieving this goal requires maximum concentration of financial and economic resources in the hands of the state, the revival and accelerated development of domestic production, the introduction of advanced technologies, and the consolidation of society.
However, the course pursued by Russia’s ruling circles hinders the achievement of these objectives. The preservation of the capitalist system contradicts the struggle for strengthening Russia’s national sovereignty. The bourgeois system formed as a result of “market reforms” is of a comprador nature. The dependence of the oligarchic “elite” on the “global community” and its alignment with the IMF and WTO guidelines hinder the Russian Armed Forces’ efforts to combat the Banderite movement. The ruling class of our country, fearing the loss of all Western preferences, is afraid of “overdoing” its struggle against the foreign oligarchy. Only a change of course and the implementation of the Victory Program developed by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will bring the success of the special military operation closer.
On Thursday, August 7, 2025, a meeting of Communist deputies was held in Moscow at the building of the European Union’s representative office in Russia, initiated by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by representatives of the Lenin Komsomol, the All-Russian Women’s Union “Nadezhda Rossii,” the All-Russian Public Organization “Children of War,” the International Union of Soviet Officers, the All-Russian Movement in Support of the Army, Defense Industry, and Military Science, the All-Russian Creative Movement “Russian Way,” and the Left Front.
The meeting was attended by leaders and prominent representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Moscow City and Moscow Regional Committees of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, other left-wing patriotic organizations, and members of the State Duma and the Moscow City Duma. The meeting with the deputies was opened and led by V.I. Kashin. In his speech, he recalled a crucial historical moment for Russia. Vladimir Ivanovich emphasized the futility of the West’s attempts to suffocate our country. According to the Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Russia possesses immense potential and capabilities to meet the needs of its population. In our country, everyone understands the need for unity in the face of external challenges. Therefore, Vladimir Kashin called on the Western leaders to halt their anti-Russian aspirations. He also addressed the people of the EU countries, advising them to think carefully when they elect politicians with imperialist views who are pushing the world towards a new massacre.
V.I. Kashin recalled the preparations for the communists to send another humanitarian convoy to Novorossiya. He expressed gratitude to the party activists for their great work in assisting the SVO fighters.
Vladimir Kashin recalled the struggle of the left-wing patriotic forces for a great Russia, for its defense, and against Nazism. He expressed confidence in the victory of our country.

The speakers condemned the aggressive policies of the ruling circles of Western countries. The communists expressed their confidence in the victory of our country and their intention to continue supporting the Russian Armed Forces, which are resisting the enemy’s onslaught. For example, K.K. Taisaev spoke about the solidarity of the progressive forces of the world with Russia, as evidenced by the results of the Second International Anti-Fascist Forum held in April. According to him, Russia’s rich potential, the unity of its people, and the people’s awareness of the need to achieve victory in the special military operation will determine the success of our country.
Addressing the participants of the event, M.V. Drobot said, “Today, we are here as the heirs of Victory, the victors of fascism.” She emphasized that the “brown plague” can only take hold where people are deceived, history is rewritten, and people are humiliated. Maria Vladimirovna called for unity in the struggle for historical truth.
V.A. Tsarikhin paid attention to the Western countries’ support for the Ukrainian Nazi regime. He expressed confidence that Russia would not be defeated. Viktor Tsarikhin emphasized the important role of the Communists in the struggle for strengthening national sovereignty. He recalled the Communist Party’s program, which would bring victory to Russia.
In turn, D.A. Parfenov recalled the futility of illusions about U.S. President Donald Trump, as no American leader has ever cared about the interests of our country. Denis Parfenov also mentioned the aggressive attitude of the European Union. They all support the Ukrainian Nazi regime. Denis Andreevich also emphasized the importance of uniting all the left-wing and anti-imperialist forces in the world who are working to combat the “globalists.”
S.P. Obukhov stated that Russia will not abandon its interests. He reminded us that the EU is nurturing fascist scum, from which they themselves will suffer. Sergey Obukhov called for a halt and a reminder of history’s lessons. According to him, the Russian people will stand up to their enemies.
At the end of the event, V.V. Obukhovsky announced a statement by the participants of the meeting with the deputies, which was unanimously supported by the audience.
